Last Saturday, Kinellar Community Centre was positively buzzing with brainpower, belly laughs, and the unmistakable hum of competitive spirit as ten terrific teams gathered for our Fantastic Family Quiz Night. With snacks in hand (and generously shared between teams!) user groups, neighbours, friends, and families settled in for an evening of light-hearted rivalry and community cheer.
The Questions Were Questionable…
Paul, our beloved quiz master returned with his signature blend of groan-worthy jokes and pun-laced puns, keeping spirits high and eyebrows raised (And the assistants arithmetic was so questionable it might just have to become a future round!)
Kazoo Chaos
A surprise kazoo round stole the show, inviting everyone to play popular songs such as "Eye of the Tiger" and "YMCA." With varying degrees of success, teams took on the challenge to toot their way through these well-known hits. The kazoo chaos brought out everyone’s inner rock stars, filling the hall with infectious laughter. For many, it was a refreshing reminder that, while hitting the right notes is fun, the joy of letting loose with friends and family is what truly matters.

A Man Down: Still Standing Tall
Despite fierce competition reigning champions A Man Down held onto the coveted Kinellar Quiz Trophy. Their blend of trivia talent and teamwork proved unbeatable once again. Could you knock them off the top spot next year…?
A Heartfelt Farewell… For Now
Huge thanks to everyone who came and joined in the fun. Whether you nailed the answers or just came for the banter, you made it a night to remember.
Stay tuned for our next community caper - and maybe brush up on your kazoo skills in the meantime just in case!
Mark your calendars for our next community event, and perhaps take some time to practice your kazoo skills in the meantime! We eagerly anticipate welcoming you again for another round of fun, laughter, and light-hearted competition. Until then, keep those trivia books handy and your kazoo skills polished!
